Abel Ramos
Founder & CEO — Powerland Energy
Abel Ramos is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Powerland Energy, which he established in 2017 with a clear mission: to accelerate the energy transition and advance a sustainable circular economy.
Born in France in 1978, Abel began his career in the French Army (1996–2014), where he built strong leadership, operational discipline, and international teamwork skills. After moving to the private sector, he worked with Brink’s in security training and with GMSA in the automotive industry. He then joined Sun’R at the company’s headquarters in Lyon as Commercial Manager under the leadership of Antoine Nogier, where he received his first in-depth training in renewable energy and actively contributed to his first CRE (French Energy Regulator) tender projects.
Building on this foundation, Abel founded Powerland Energy in 2017 and has since led the development of innovative projects across Europe and Africa, with a focus on decarbonization, education, and sustainable infrastructure. His vision aligns energy performance with social impact, ensuring that growth benefits local communities while creating long-term value for partners and investors.
